Leninsky District Court considered the administrative offence case against blogger Ilya Zaika, who was charged under Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation «Violation of the established order of organization or holding a meeting, rally, demonstration, march». According to the explanations that Zaika gave in court, he created a chat room in a messenger for discussions and gathering people to go to a rally in support of the Russian opposition politician Alexey Navalny in Sevastopol. He posted a link to the chat on a social network. Zaika discussed the time, place of gathering, and the route of the column of the rally participants, sent out instructions on behaviour at the rally, and offered ideas. The court found Zaika guilty of committing an administrative offence and sentenced him to administrative arrest for 5 days.
