The Meshchansky District Court of Moscow fined journalist Ilya Varlamov RUB 30,000 for the lack of «foreign agent» labelling in his posts on Telegram (Article 19.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation). The court refused to postpone the hearing due to the absence of Varlamov’s defence counsel, who was on holiday. Screenshots of the posts were made on May 29.
