Security guards forbade the blogger Ilya Varlamov to shoot on the territory of the Keruen-Saray tourist complex in Turkestan. «Something strange is going on. Security guards keep coming up to us and telling us that we can't take pictures at all. The question is, why did they build all this? For whom, if you can't film? This is the first time I've come across such bans», – said Varlamov. Later, deputy akim of Turkestan Saken Kalkamanov on his Instagram page called what happened the initiative of a security guard, «an isolated case», and assured that neither akim nor anyone else gave a ban on filming. Kalkamanov apologized to Varlamov.
