A court in Moscow fined the journalist of Novaya Gazeta Ilya Azar RUB 60,000 under an article on «discrediting» the Russian army with calls for unauthorized public events (Part 2 of Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation) over a Facebook post from February 28. Azar wrote in his post after the shelling of Kharkiv that «this madness» could only be stopped if all the famous people with a large number of followers who have spoken out against the war in recent days «chose a date and time for an anti-war march and all together announced it on their social media accounts and called to go to the streets (and come themselves as well)».
