Azar was detained along with other participants in pickets in support of Pskov journalist Svetlana Prokopyeva, accused of justification of terrorism. A warrant was issued against Azar for repeated violation of the procedure for conducting demonstrations (Art. 20.2, part 8 of the Code of Administrative Law).
