The Maskousky District Court of Minsk sentenced freelance journalist and tour guide Ihar Khmara to 2.5 years of restricted freedom without sending him to a correctional institution («home chemistry»). Judge Tatsiana Pirozhnikava found him guilty of «active participation in actions that grossly violate public order» (Article 342 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus).
