The law enforcers searched Kazmerchak’s flat, confiscated his laptop and phone, then took him for interrogation. After the interrogation, the journalist was detained under Article 341 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus for allegedly spoiling city buildings with political inscriptions. It is not known which city infrastructure objects are in question. The journalist was kept in the detention centre for three days and released as a suspect on July 11.
