The Leninski District Court of Hrodna fined the editor of the city website newgrodno.by Ihar Bublikau (Remzik) 25 base amounts for distributing information products included in the national list of extremist materials (Part 2 of Article 17.11 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus). The court also ruled to confiscate in favour of the state the computer system unit seized from the journalist during the search on January 29. Remzik pleaded partially guilty. He said in court that he had posted a link to a Telegram channel declared extremist when it was not yet so. According to him, he deleted all the links he found, but he left out one news item from August 17. The editor used the link to that particular channel because the video was not available on other resources.
