The Kirovsky District Court of Ufa started the consideration of the lawsuit for the protection of honour, dignity, and business reputation filed against Idel.Realities (Radio Liberty service) and Raufa Rakhimova, the publisher of the Ufa-based news outlet ProUfu. The lawsuits were filed by Rostislav Murzagulov, a member of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, and Alexander Sidyakin, the head of the administration of the head of the Republic of Bashkortostan. They demand that a text fragment in one of the articles be recognised as untrue, removed, and retracted. The lawsuit also demanded to exact RUB 250,000 from the defendants in favour of each of the plaintiffs. On February 5, 2021, the court partially satisfied the lawsuit. The court ruled to remove the citation in dispute and publish a refutation. The plaintiffs were given compensation for moral damage of RUB 40,000 (they demanded RUB 500,000).
