In Kakheti, a camera crew from Mtavari Arkhi, including journalist Ia Guliashvili and camera operator Levan Dvali, was reportedly attacked by an individual allegedly connected to the ruling Georgian Dream party. While Guliashvili was covering the elections, the individual demanded she leave the area and attempted to seize the camera from the camera operator. The previous day, Mediachecker.ge, a Tbilisi based media outlet, reported that Guliashvili and her crew faced confrontation at Gurjaani’s (Kakheti region) second polling station. An individual allegedly insulted the crew, threw objects at them, and threatened to break their camera.
