News AM LLC filed a lawsuit against Hraparak Daily Newspaper LLC with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction, demanding to oblige the respondent to publish a refutation of information considered libel, to apologize for the insult, and to pay compensation for the damage caused to the business reputation. The reason for the lawsuit was the article posted on Hraparak.am on August 10, according to which the news portal News.am had refuted their publication on an unpleasant incident with the Minister of Defense at the request of the Ministry. The lawsuit was filed on September 26 and is being considered.
