The Central Electoral Commission did not allow the Hook.report team to observe the parliamentary elections on October 27. After numerous attempts, the independent media outlet was able to apply for accreditation within the deadline - exactly 10 days before election day. However, the E-saylov platform demanded a labour contract from the editorial office, which is not included in the normative documents. As a result, the necessary documents were sent to the CEC email. This was followed by a denial of accreditation, the reason being failure to meet the deadline for submission of the application. At the same time, on October 19, the CEC website noted that the deadline for accepting applications from media outlets was October 16, 11 days before the election.
