13th January - The State Control Service of Armenia brought a lawsuit against Susanna Muradyan and civil organisation 'Investigative Journalists' in the Yerevan court of general jurisdiction, demanding that they be forced to refute claims that the plaintiff considers slanderous, and that each defendant pay 2 million dirhams (more than $5,000) in compensation. The reason for the suit was a 25th of December 2024 article, published on Hetq.am (belonging to the aforementioned organization), titled 'SCS conducted unethical inspections at the Armenia medical centre and covered up the evidence', quoting the words of former SCS employee Susanna Muradyan regarding corruption in the service. The site also published clarifications from the SCS at the same time. The suit is under consideration.
