On January 3, the former employee of the Judicial Acts Enforcement Service of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Grisha Davtyan filed a lawsuit with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against NGO Investigative Journalists and journalists Ani Sarkisova, Saro Baghdasaryan, and Grisha Balasanyan, demanding refutation of the information considered as libel and payment of monetary compensation. The reason for the lawsuit was the article published on December 3, 2022, on the website Hetq.am, which belongs to the NGO, «The bank cheated the loan recipient, and the employee quit his job and bought his house». The lawsuit is being considered.
