Olimp Construction, LLC, filed a lawsuit in a general jurisdiction court of Yerevan against the founder of the Internet publication Hetq.am, Etk, LLC, demanding a retraction of information considered libelous and payment of restitution. The reason for the lawsuit was an article published on the site Hetq.am, “Building Developer Refuses to Hand Over Pumping Station to Water Committee; Residents Complain”. Although the author of the material obtained commentary from a representative of the developer as well, nevertheless, the plaintiff considers the information published about him to be libelous. The case has been accepted and is awaiting trial.
