The riot policemen beat the Komsomolskaya Pravda journalist Henadz Mazheyka and driver Anton Kulesh with truncheons. During the dispersal of the protest action, the law enforcers were checking the parked cars in search of escaped protesters. «About ten officers came up to us, surrounded the car, and ordered us out. We introduced ourselves and said we were journalists. I took out the Komsomolskaya Pravda journalist ID and handed it to the officer. In response, I heard swearing and was hit with a truncheon on the arm and leg. I received a punch in my face. At the same time, at the order of the law enforcers, our driver Anton opened the trunk. Anton leaned over, showed what was in the car, and at that moment, they started beating him on his legs », – said Mazheyka. The journalist was wearing a vest with the inscription «Press», but this did not stop the law enforcers.
