On April 6, Alisa Mkhitaryan, Director of Maralik School №1, filed a lawsuit against the news website Haykakan Zham with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction demanding to refute the information defaming honor, dignity and business reputation and to pay monetary compensation. The reason for the lawsuit was the note published on the Facebook page of the site on February 19, according to which the school director urged teachers and parents to vote for the candidate of the incumbent government in the elections to the local Council of Elders, otherwise she threatened negative consequences for the school. The lawsuit is being considered.
