The editorial office of the independent regional newspaper Hantsavitski Chas was searched by officers of the Financial Investigation Department of the State Control Committee. The law enforcers were primarily interested in finances and accounting, as a result of the search, they confiscated all computer equipment and telephones. The editor-in-chief of the media outlet Piotr Huzayeuski was present during the search and was out of reach all day. In the evening, the journalist reported that he was free, but without means of communication — his equipment was also confiscated.
