The Slavgorod District Court of the Mogilev Region has recognised the page “Hai Tak TV” on the social network Odnoklassniki (identifier ok.ru/group/53723453915298) as extremist information. “Hai Tak TV” is a satirical show on the Belsat TV channel, in which participants discuss political and other news from Belarus and around the world. On the basis of the court’s decision, the Ministry of Information of Belarus has added the website to the Republican List of Extremist Materials. Under Belarusian law, the distribution and storage of materials deemed extremist entail administrative liability for both publishers and users.
