A court in Yekaterinburg fined Guzel Aitkulova, director of the newspaper Vecherniye Vedomosti, RUB 150,000 for «discrediting» the army (Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation). Vecherniye Vedomosti was fined for the news about the detention of street artist Leonid Chyorny. The reason for the case was a check by the regional Center for Combating Extremism of the publication in the Telegram channel @ve4ved that told about how Leonid Chorny was arrested with stickers. He was subsequently prosecuted for vandalism.
