Well-known Kazakh journalist Gulzhan Yergaliyeva is being pestered on the phone by unknown persons. According to Yergaliyeva, on August 5, she received 55 calls from India and Pakistan in three hours. She answered the first two calls, but there was no answer. After the journalist realized that it was a phone attack, she turned off her phone. After turning it on, Yergaliyeva started receiving obscene messages and calls. The journalist was also attacked through the account of the media outlet she heads. Yergaliyeva believes that she is being bullied by a certain bot farm and the attack is related to Elmedia activities.
