Journalist, owner of the news website Nazarnews Gulzhan Sheripbayeva was released under house arrest. This was reported in the press service of the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek. It is noted that the decision to change the measure of restraint was taken on November 20 at the request of the State Committee for National Security investigator. She will be under house arrest until January 15. On November 16, Gulzhan Sheripbayeva wrote on her Facebook page around noon that she was detained by the SCNS. Her brother Mairambek Karimov said that the journalist was taken directly from the office of the media outlet by officers of the SCNS. During the selection of a measure of restraint in court, it became known that the journalist is suspected of committing an offence under Part 1 of Article 330 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic (incitement of racial, ethnic, national, religious interregional enmity or discord).
