Gulnaz Ravilova was arrested because, during a search at the office of the United Democrats on the night of July 3 to 4, she refused to go for a medical examination. Immediately after the search, Ravilova independently passed tests: no traces of narcotic substances were found. The participant of the United Democrats was taken to court in handcuffs. Then she returned to the police department for the night. On July 16, the court arrested Ravilova for five days under the article on «failure to comply with the legal requirement of an authorised official to undergo a medical examination» (Article 6.9 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation).
