The Investigation Department of the General Prosecutor's Office initiated a criminal case of extortion by prior agreement against the correspondent of the regional news channel Ltv 7 Fazil Guliyev, blogger Vusal Zeynalov, director of the Internet channel Ltv 7 Dzheyhun Shamilov, Deputy Director of the channel Gulmira Radzhabova, correspondents Sevil Merendski and Gulnara Mamedova. Fazil Guliyev, Vusal Zeynalov, and Dzheyhun Shamilov were arrested for 2 months until the trial. As a preventive measure, a ban on movement was imposed on Gulmira Radzhabova, Sevil Merendski, and Gulnara Mamedova (they are not allowed to leave their residence without police permission).
