Gulmira Makanbai kyzy, the journalist of 24.kg, was questioned by the State Committee for National Security. She received a summons without a signature, stamp, and indication of purpose. The journalist was summoned to the special services because of a video interview with a Russian citizen Buda Munkhoev in which he spoke about the independence of Buryatia, his native language, and his impressions of Kyrgyzstan. The SCNS officers, she said, conducted the conversation politely and in the presence of her lawyer. The journalist wrote an explanatory note. The conversation lasted about one hour.
