The court of Nur-Sultan considered a lawsuit for the protection of honor, dignity, and business reputation of Bibigul Nurasheva against blogger and journalist Gulban Abenova. The reason for the court proceedings were more than 15 posts on Facebook and correspondence in messengers, in which, according to the plaintiff, «she is presented (...) as a person who carries out her professional activities on a corrupt basis». Nurasheva demands that the disseminated information be declared false, defamatory of her honour, dignity, and business reputation, that a refutation be published, and that she be compensated for the moral damage caused. On March 25, the court completely rejected Nurasheva’s claim.
