The Russian Ministry of Justice has designated documentary filmmaker Grigory Amnuel as a “foreign agent.” The ministry stated that Amnuel spreads “unreliable information” about the actions and policies of the Russian government, publicly opposes the “special military operation” in Ukraine, and contributes to the distribution of materials produced by other “foreign agents.”
