On November 14, Hovhannes Poghosyan, former Deputy Prosecutor of the Shirak region of the Republic of Armenia, filed a lawsuit against 168 Zham LLC (founder of the newspaper of the same name and website 168.am) and journalist Gohar Savzyan with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction demanding to refute the information considered as libel and to pay monetary compensation. The reason for the lawsuit was the article «Who pretends to be the Prosecutor of Shirak region?» that was published on the above-mentioned website on October 15, where Hovhannes Poghosyan was accused of some compromising actions. Particularly, the article says that during the 44-day war, he «organized a party with drinking and music in one of the saunas in Gyumri». The lawsuit is being considered.
