Police used water cannons and tear gas to disperse protestors against the rigging of the elections outside the Central Election Commission building. Several journalists were injured: Papuna Hachidze - cameraman of the TV channel Pirveli; Nika Matiashvili, Giorgi Dzaparidze and Soso Cyclauri - operators of the TV channel Formula, as well as journalist Ani Baratashvili. The cameras of all the operators were damaged as well, as the police deliberately used water cannons against journalists to knock cameras out of their hands.
