Police officers verbally and physically assaulted journalist Giorgi Diasamidze while he was covering an anti-government protest on the election day. A video released by Radio Liberty shows officers kicking the phone he was using to film. Despite repeatedly identifying himself as a journalist and wearing a press vest, the police officers ignored this information.
