The Nagatinsky District Court of Moscow fined photographer Georgy Malets RUB 10,000 under Part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (participation in an unauthorised rally) for his work at a rally of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. According to the police, the photographer chanted «freedom to elections, unfair elections» at the meeting with deputies. The photographer emphasised that he was carrying out an editorial assignment for the channel Current Time.
