Georgy Chentemirov, the head of the Union of Journalists of Karelia, announced that he and his family had left Russia. According to him, this was preceded by bullying because of a post in which he «insulted people who support the events taking place in Russia». Chentemirov apologized for the post, but noted that he still opposed the war with Ukraine.
