Sovetsky District Court arrested Gaspar Avagyan for 7 days on charges of disobeying a police officer (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation) – the blogger refused to go to the police station. As the defence notes, it will be possible to appeal the arrest only retroactively in connection with quarantine measures. Avagyan is a suspect in a criminal case of extortion. A preventive measure has been chosen for him in the form of a prohibition of certain actions.
