On April 23, in the Tavush region of Armenia, during police actions to disperse demonstrators protesting against the delimitation of the border with Azerbaijan, the legitimate professional activities of the employee of the daily newspaper Aravot Garik Melkonyan were obstructed. In particular, when the police representatives noticed that their actions were being videotaped, they approached Garik Melkonyan. One of the policemen hit and knocked the phone out of the journalist’s hands, which, as a result, broke.
