An administrative report has been filed against Galina Timchenko, the founder of the online outlet Meduza (the legal entity Medusa Project SIA has been designated in Russia as a foreign agent and an undesirable organisation), who has herself been designated a foreign agent in the Russian Federation. The report concerns an administrative offence for failing to report herself as a foreign agent. According to the information, the case under Part 1 of Article 19.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences (“Violation of the procedure for the activities of a foreign agent”) has been submitted to the Cheremushki District Court of Moscow.
