Meshchansky District Court of Moscow fined journalist Galina Sakharevich RUB 30,000 under Part 1 of Article 20.6.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation for failure to comply with the rules of conduct in pandemic conditions. According to SOTA, the police detained Sakharevich on February 26 at Pushkinskaya Square for singing Viktor Tsoi's song «War». The journalist told OVD-Info that she was taken to the police department of the Meshchansky district and left there until the trial, even though she is seeing a psychiatrist. Sakharevich also noted that her phone was seized at the police station.
