Roskomnadzor blocked fnvolga.ru, the website of the Saratov media project FreeNews-Volga. In April 2024, at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office, the FreeNews-Volga website was blocked under a different domain name — fn-volga.ru. The reason for the blocking was publications about the 2024 presidential campaign, the death of Alexei Navalny, and public events in memory of Boris Nemtsov. In October 2024, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, at the request of Roskomnadzor, revoked FreeNews-Volga's media license.
