The journalist of the TV channel France24, her translator, and activist Sergey Veselov were detained in Shuya, Ivanovo Region. A vandalism case (Part 1 of Article 214 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) was initiated against Veselov; the French journalist was filming a story about him. The police accused the journalist of unauthorized filming and demanded that she delete the footage. All detained were released from the police station the same day.
