The Prosecutor General's Office has declared the Czech non-governmental organisation “Fund for the Support of Investigative Journalism - Fund 19/29” “undesirable.” The formal reason for banning the foundation in Russia was that it is part of the Global Network of Investigative Journalists and is associated with the Russia-EU Civil Society Forum, which cooperates with the Network Association of Investigative Journalists. All three organisations have also been declared “undesirable.” The Prosecutor General's Office claims that Fund 19/29 “disparages Russia, including through publications on the Internet, as well as through programs and projects that discredit our country's policies and its leadership.”
