Basmanny District Court, on the lawsuit of Suleyman Kerimov, obliged Sobesednik to remove from its website the article about the seizure of the office of the Razvitiye construction holding in 2005. The media outlet should pay compensation for the moral damage of RUB 10,000. Similar claims were filed against Vedomosti and Forbes. The court recovered RUB 1,000 from Facebook user Narine Davydova for retelling articles about Kerimov. The judge found that the information contained in the investigation and challenged by the plaintiff did not correspond to reality and ordered the defendants to refute them and remove them from the websites.
