The Sabunchu District Court fined the head of the website jamaz.info Ibishbeyli Fikret (Fikret Faramazoglu) AZN 500 under Article 388-1.1.1.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Azerbaijan (placement of information prohibited by the law «On Information, Informatisation and Protection of Information» by the owner or user of an Internet information resource). During the investigation, it was established that Ibishbeyli Fikret posted inaccurate information on the shelling of Shusha city from the direction of Khankendi on the website jamaz.info. Faramazoglu wrote on his Facebook page that he disagrees with the court’s decision and intends to file an appeal.
