On December 19, the 2nd Western District Military Court sentenced blogger Felix Yeliseyev to 14 years in prison on articles on justification of terrorism (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and treason (Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Yeliseyev was detained in December 2022 in the case of calls to terrorism in the posts of the Telegram channel Kolkhoz Madness, which he allegedly ran under the pseudonym Rumata Estorsky. In April, another case of justification of terrorism was brought against Yeliseyev, and in September — a case of treason. The TV channel Vesti-Lipetsk broadcast a story that the defendant was transferring funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Yeliseyev was denied medical care in the pre-trial detention centre.
