Oktyabrsky District Court arrested Krasheninnikov for seven days for a post in Telegram about the Constitutional Court's position on amendments to the Constitution. The publicist called the judges of the Constitutional Court «turds in robes». Krasheninnikov was found guilty under Part 4 of Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (repeated disrespect for the authorities).
