Two men attacked UzReport cameraman Fayoz Bakhtiyorov when he was filming the car accident's consequences and damaged his camera. The incident was heard on January 15 in court. The verdict was in favour of the attackers and not the cameraman. According to the TV channel’s lawyer, the law enforcement officers who witnessed the incident were trying to cover up the attack. The TV staff challenged the verdict in the cassation appeal and filed a complaint with the Prosecutor’s Office.
