Investigators visited the parents of former VGTRK presenter Farida Kurbangaleeva in Kazan. They were questioned separately and subjected to psychological pressure. In Russia, Kurbangaleeva was arrested on charges of justifying terrorism (part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code) and spreading military “fakes” (clause “e” of part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code). On February 11, it became known that the Prosecutor General's Office had demanded that the Czech authorities extradite the journalist to Russia.
