The Khatai District Court chose a preventive measure in the form of arrest for Farid Ismailov for a period of 2 months and 20 days - until April 6, said lawyer Zibeyda Sadygova. The investigation motivated Ismailov's detention by the aggravation of the charges and the fact that the journalist did not comply with the conditions of the preventive measure - being under police supervision. Allegedly, he went to the districts without informing the police. However, Ismailov said that this was not true, he regularly went and checked in with the police. He stated that he was not guilty of anything. In addition, he has health problems.
