On August 31, in the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction, at the open session on the criminal case on the explosion at the Surmalu fair in Yerevan, the film crews of Public TV Company of Armenia, as well as news portals Factor.TV and News.am were banned from live broadcasting, and then were not allowed to film at all. Ten minutes after the beginning of the session, the judge ordered to stop filming, although the defendants were not against the media coverage. When Public TV correspondent Tatev Khachatryan introduced herself and demanded explanations, the judge reprimanded her and said that she was interfering with the course of the session, threatening the journalist with a stricter sanction.
