The Ivatsevichy District Court of the Brest Region has designated the Facebook page “Belarus News Headlines” (facebook.com/belarusheadlines) as extremist informational material. The page features the Radio Svaboda logo and contains links to the media outlet’s publications. Following the court’s decision, the Ministry of Information of Belarus has added this online resource to the Republican List of Extremist Materials. Under Belarusian law, the distribution and storage of materials deemed extremist entail administrative liability for both publishers and users.
