The Russian Ministry of Justice has added journalist Evgeny Krotenko, editor-in-chief of Russkaya Pressa, to its register of “foreign agents.” According to the Ministry of Justice, he disseminated “unreliable information about the decisions and policies of the public authorities of the Russian Federation” and participated in the creation and distribution of materials by “foreign agents.” Krotenko was born in Troitsk, lived and worked in the Chelyabinsk region, and then emigrated from Russia.
