On July 17, Uzbek law enforcers questioned Erkin Ruziyev, one of the administrators of the Facebook group «O’zbekiston Tojiklar» («Tajiks of Uzbekistan»), about how Afzalsho Shodiyev’s song ended up on their page. After the interrogation, Ruziyev was released home and warned that he would have to appear for the investigation. He was told that he was to appear at the police department this coming Saturday for a confrontation with Salim Inomzoda, the chief administrator of the group. Erkin Ruziyev was detained by police officers in Bukhara and taken to Tashkent. The day before, Salim Inomzoda, a Tajik-speaking journalist, had been detained and a criminal case was opened against him for disseminating «materials threatening public security».
